Ton Duc Thang University students won the first prize at the 22nd Euréka Prize

On November 28, 2020, the 22nd ceremony of Euréka Scientific Research Students Awards took place at the Youth Cultural House of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).

At the ceremony, the students of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) excellently won 1 First Prize in Chemistry - Pharmacy and 1 Consolation Prize in Agriculture - Forestry - Fishery. In addition, TDTU students won another prize (the favorite video award).

The First prize was awarded to the student group of Pham Trung Duc, Luu Thuy Phuong Nghi, Nguyen Trong Hoang (Faculty of Applied Sciences) with the topic "Research on development of non-defective thin silicoaluminophosphate molecular sieve films applied to removing CO2 impurities in improving the quality of Blue Whale gas". The research was instructed by Dr. Vo Nguyen Xuan Phuong.

The Consolation Prize was awarded to the group of Truong Minh Tuan, Luu Thi Huynh Nhu, Nguyen Xuan Tho (Faculty of Applied Sciences) with the topic “Saline stress affects agronomic properties, phytic acid and aroma of mutant rice lines of M1", instructed by Dr. Pham Thi Thu Ha. This group also won the favorite video award with "Science story".

The Euréka Scientific Research Students Awards is a competition for students who are passionate about scientific research across the country created by Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in cooperation with the National University of Ho Chi Minh City. The competition aims at strongly and extensively stimulating scientific research among students.
