Doing research at TDTU

With the goal of developing into a world-class research university, scientific and technological activities at TDTU are organized according to international standards with the following directions:

-Basic research: Research outcomes must result in publications in top-tier, reputable journals listed in WoS or Scopus databases.

-Technology research: Research outcomes must successfully address practical issues, with the results being new designs, patents, or inventions granted patents by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

-Applied research: Research activities are closely linked with businesses to transfer research products into practical applications.

Duc Thang University Hosts the Second International Conference on Computational Intelligence in Engineering and Science
Under the theme “Innovations, Advancements, and Future Trends in Intelligent Computing Research in Engineering Sciences”, the Conference explored several interdisciplinary and advanced research areas including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Natural Language Processing, Intelligent Systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Cybersecurity and Data Analytics. These fields are considered vital for high-application industries such as healthcare, agriculture, smart cities, and the digital economy.

Ton Duc Thang University Co-organizes Scientific Conference on Ngoc Linh Ginseng, Promoting Research, Technology Transfer, and National Product Development
At the Conference, many updated research results were presented, helping to clarify issues such as quality standardization, testing, identification, and differentiation of Ngoc Linh Ginseng from other types of ginsengs to limit confusion and counterfeiting. In this context, the role of science and technology becomes crucial. Research on identification, testing, and product development not only helps enhance economic value but also contributes to protecting the reputation and position of Ngoc Linh Ginseng in both domestic and international markets.
