Ton Duc Thang University signs cooperation agreement with Tuoi Tre Newspaper
On July 17, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and Tuoi Tre Newspaper held a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Cooperation to build and develop relationships in many fields.
The delegation of Tuoi Tre Newspaper led by Journalist Le The Chu - Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, with the presence of Deputy Editor-in-Chief Le Xuan Trung and leaders of departments and reporters, visited and had a working session, signing the Memorandum of Cooperation with TDTU.
Welcoming, working, and exchanging with the delegation of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, on the side of TDTU, there were Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU and teachers, members of the Board of Directors, leaders of Faculties, Departments, and Centers under TDTU, who attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
The delegation of Tuoi Tre Newspaper visited typical works of TDTU such as the Inspiration Library, sports complex, dormitory... Speaking at the meeting, Journalist Le The Chu highly appreciated the achievements and achievements that the University has achieved despite being a young university with a relatively short time of construction and development. Thereby, the Journalist also expressed his gratitude for the leadership vision and dedication of the University staff in the education and training of the country.
The leaders of Tuoi Tre Newspaper highly appreciated the Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS) and the educational model from high school to university of TDTU and also suggested that it is possible to strengthen and promote communication about VFIS through the program "Discovering the school" that the Newspaper is implementing very successfully.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao - President of TDTU shared that in the context of current digital transformation, not only students but also lecturers of the University need to improve their communication skills, especially digital communication is developing strongly. Therefore, with this cooperation, the University hopes that not only students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities but also other faculties can come to Tuoi Tre Newspaper to study, practice and intern.

Therefore, the Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper commented: "This cooperation not only connects two large units but also resonates towards common values of intelligence, innovation, sustainable development, for the community". Journalist Le The Chu emphasized that the signing of the cooperation agreement between the two units is the beginning of deeper, more professional activities, creating greater values in the future.
According to the content of the Cooperation Minutes, TDTU and Tuoi Tre Newspaper agreed to implement key cooperation activities on the pillars: education - training, communication - enrollment, event organization and human resource development.
Specifically, Tuoi Tre Newspaper commits to coordinate with TDTU to implement communication on enrollment - career guidance programs through the Newspaper's publications, digital platforms and events; prioritize receiving TDTU students for internships, internships, and career tours at the editorial office each semester; coordinate to organize seminars, talkshows, short-term training courses on communication, health, sports, school culture, vocational skills education and job introduction for students.
TDTU invited Tuoi Tre Newspaper staff and lecturers to teach a part of the related courses as business experts; created conditions for students to practice the Practical Career course at the Newspaper; coordinated the organization of scientific seminars and community events suitable to the strengths of both sides; and supported training and fostering communication skills for TDTU staff, lecturers and students.
The two sides also agreed to continue expanding the scope of cooperation through specific projects and programs developed and implemented in each phase to maximize professional strengths, contributing to spreading positive educational and communication values to the community.
This is a significant milestone, a bright spot in TDTU's communication activities, promising to open up valuable learning and practical career experience opportunities for learners - contributing to improving the quality of training and connecting deeply with the community. Previously, Tuoi Tre Newspaper and TDTU have accompanied each other through many admission seasons with Admissions Consulting and Choice Days; at the end of September 2024, the 2nd Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament organized by Tuoi Tre Newspaper was also successfully held with exciting matches at TDTU Stadium.
