Towards the 27th anniversary celebration of Ton Duc Thang University (September 24, 1997 - September 24, 2024) and to create a lively atmosphere for students at the beginning of the new Academic Year, on September 21, 2024, TDTU organized the 2024 Alumni Day with the theme “TDTU: 27 Years - Alumni Day.”

On September 19, 2024, the Council of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held its 20th Meeting of the  term 2021-2026. Dr. Vu Anh Duc - Chairman of the University Council chaired the meeting.

On September 20, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to conclude the Academic Year 2023-2024, and welcoming students of Intake 28 to the Opening of the Academic Year 2024-2025, with the joy of its 27th Anniversary Celebration (September 24, 1997 - September 24, 2024).

This campaign was launched by the Party Committee, assigned to TDTU Presidential Board and directed the TDTU Trade Union and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of TDTU to call on all lecturers, staff and students to join hands and contribute to share difficulties with people in storm and flood areas.

On September 5, 2024, in the vibrant and joyful atmosphere of the new academic year nationwide, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a welcoming event for the freshmen of Intake 28 admitted in 2024 with the theme “A New Beginning at TDTU.”

From 7:00 am, the departments receiving new students were ready. Tan Phong campus became bustling, colorful, and exciting with activities welcoming freshmen of the Intake 28 to join the TDTU family.
