On July 22nd, 2020, Vietnam Public Joint Stock Commercial Bank (PVcomBank) and Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement.
From PVcomBank, Mr. Pham Huy Tuyen, Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong, Regional Director of Sector 4 and 5; and leaders of some branches, centers and transaction points in Ho Chi Minh City attended the signing ceremony.
From TDTU, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Center for Enterprise Cooperation and Alumni; Dr. Hoang Cam Trang, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking; Dr. Nghiem Quy Hao, Director of the Center for Applied Economic Research and Training; and a number of head lecturers and lecturers of the Faculty of Finance and Banking attended the signing ceremony.
At the Ceremony, Mr. Pham Huy Tuyen highly appreciated the achievements of the University. He was especially impressed with the achievements in research and training of the University, as well as the fact that TDTU has been continuously ranked number 1 in Vietnam in many fields by many prestigious university ranking systems in the world.
Mr. Pham Huy Tuyen said, “After a period of cooperation, PVcomBank thanks TDTU for choosing us as a reliable partner of the University in many activities that bring practical benefits to students. The belief and satisfaction of the University for PVcomBank is the motivation for us to continue to step firmly on the development journey and affirm our position in the market.”
Under this comprehensive cooperation agreement, PVcomBank is committed to providing financial-banking services with many benefits for lecturers, staff and students of TDTU. At the same time, the two parties pledged to carry out deeper cooperation in research, education, recruitment, scholarship and media funding, in order to enhance the image of both parties and maximize the potential strengths of each party.
Dr. Vo Hoang Duy said, “Before this Signing Ceremony, the two parties successfully implemented a number of activities, through which the Faculty assessed as the practical cooperation programs. After the signing ceremony, with the leadership of the leaders, the two parties will implement more effective cooperation programs.”
