TDTU Collaborates with the Ministry of Education and Training to Organize a Consultation Workshop on the Draft Decree on Administrative Sanctions in the Education Sector

On July 17, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), organized a consultation workshop to collect feedback on the draft Decree on Administrative Sanctions in the Education Sector.

The workshop was chaired by Dr. Mai Thi Anh, Director General of the Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training, and attended by representatives of Departments of Education and Training, higher education institutions, vocational education institutions, and other relevant agencies and organizations.

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the Ministry of Education and Training in the development and refinement of educational legislation, TDTU co-organized the workshop to provide a forum where government agencies, educational institutions, and experts could exchange views and offer recommendations on the draft Decree before its submission to the competent authorities for consideration and promulgation.

Held in a constructive, responsible, and professional atmosphere, the workshop focused on several key issues, including principles for determining administrative violations; the distinction between administrative sanctions, disciplinary measures, public service accountability, and sector-specific management measures; the consistency of regulations across different levels of education; appropriate penalty levels; and the feasibility of remedial measures. Numerous valuable recommendations were presented, contributing to the refinement of the legal framework and ensuring that the draft Decree is coherent, practical, and responsive to the evolving requirements of education governance.

Thanks to the close collaboration between the Ministry of Education and Training and TDTU, the workshop was well organized with comprehensive logistical support, modern facilities, and reliable technical infrastructure, creating a conducive environment for delegates, experts, and education administrators to exchange ideas and provide constructive feedback.

TDTU's continued collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Training in organizing professional conferences and workshops demonstrates the University's active engagement in the formulation and improvement of Vietnam's national education policies. It also reflects the University's strong reputation, organizational capability, and modern facilities, which effectively support the hosting of large-scale academic and educational management events.
