The "HCM City Students and the Law" Semi- final Round 2017 took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) on October 08. Over 3,200 students from educational centers, senior high schools, junior high schools, professional secondary school and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) participated in the event.

With the theme of "Healthy life today builds the future," the candidates of the contest must complete the computer knowledge test about Food Safety Law, Environmental Protection Law, Children's Law, Youth Law etc. and join the outdoor games at TDTU Stadium. The contest aimed to help students understand the law and the role of law in daily life as well as to educate them to form habits of self-discipline and humane attitude to contribute to the building of school culture and better society.

On this occasion, students also experienced the modern university learning environment by taking part in TDTU's 37 departments of undergraduate education, so they were able to begin their career orientation, understand and determine their own learning goals and prepare themselves for necessary further information about future college education.
