In June 2025, the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) announced the QS World University Rankings 2026, in which Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) is ranked 684th globally out of 1,501 higher-education institutions evaluated.
QS is one of the most reputable global university ranking organizations. TDTU first appeared in this ranking in the 2022 edition in the 1001-1200 bracket, and maintained a similar standing in 2023. By the 2024 rankings, TDTU has improved its position to the 721-730 range and continued its upward trajectory to the 711-720 range in 2025.
