In April 2026, the Asia University Rankings 2026 of the Times Higher Education (THE) announced that Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was ranked 251-300 out of 929 higher education institutions in Asia.

In the evaluation process, TDTU’s overall score is 40.2-42.7. The scores for each criterion are as follows:

- Research Quality: 82.5

- Industry: 27.2

- International Outlook: 63.0

- Research Environment: 14.8

- Teaching: 18.8

THE has been ranking Asian universities since 2013, with the same ranking criteria as the World University Rankings, and with weights adjusted to suit the characteristics of universities in Asia.
