On the afternoon of October 20, 2022, the “Fruit Platter Decoration” contest organized by the Trade Union of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attracted the participation of 34 teams of 27 trade union units. The contest has received enthusiastic support from union members throughout the University.

Each trade union unit decorated a fruit platter with the following requirements: on topic, beautiful appearance, reasonable cost, safe fruit, impressive presentation and the earliest time to complete. The jury selected 6 best fruit platters to award as follows:

First Prize: The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities;

Second Prize: The Faculty of Law;

Third Prize: The Faculty of Industrial Fine Arts;

3 Consolation Prizes:

• The Center of Applied Information Technology;
• Vietnam - Finland International School;
• The Department for Facility Management.

In harmony with the exciting atmosphere of the contest, the University’s Trade Union awarded winning units in the “Online Wall Newspaper” contest to celebrate the 25th Founding Anniversary of TDTU. The awards were awarded to the following units:

First Prize: The Department of Testing and Quality Assessment;

Second Prize: The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities;

Third Prize: Ton Duc Thang University Library;

5 Consolation Prizes:

• The Faculty of Accounting;
• The Faculty of Information Technology;
• The Vietnam - Finland International School;
• The Faculty of Civil Engineering;
• The Department for Computing & Computer services.

At the end of the contest, the participants enjoyed a buffet with fruits from the participating teams and music performances by the union members themselves, creating warm and meaningful moments. This event was held not only to bring special happy feelings for female lecturers and staff, but also to contribute to creating a useful playground, helping the union members have the opportunity to exchange, learn and connect with colleagues after work.
