Thanh Nien Newspaper: Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized the first international conference on university quality in Vietnam

On December 11 and 12, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University successfully organized the 2024 International Conference of the ASEAN University Network for Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

This is the first event held in Vietnam, attracting more than 150 universities and educational institutions in the ASEAN region.

Attending the conference were guests who were representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, leaders of the ministries of state management of education in ASEAN countries, along with speakers and leaders from universities and educational quality assessment organizations.

Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Department of Quality Management, Ministry of Education and Training highly appreciated the efforts and preparation work of Ton Duc Thang University and affirmed the importance of the conference.

The conference program includes three main activities. In which, the AUN-QA IC international conference is a forum for experts, educators and representatives of universities to share experiences and discuss urgent issues in the field of education quality assurance.

With the theme "Innovating ASEAN Higher Education: Integrating AI, Using Databases and Future-Ready Quality Culture", the conference focused on the important role of artificial intelligence, data-driven strategies and quality culture in improving the quality of education.

The AUN-QA AGA aims to share experiences, discuss professional issues and improve the capacity of the team in assessing the quality of education.

Finally, the AUN-QA CQO Leadership Conference is dedicated to staff in charge of this field, to discuss, update and orient the development of the AUN-QA quality assurance system.
