The competition was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
A total of 74 units were participating in the event, including 62 out of 63 Departments of Education and Training, along with 12 units from universities, academies, research institutes with affiliated high schools, as well as high schools under the management of ministries and equivalent agencies.
This is the second time that Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) has been selected by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee to host the competition.
In addition to providing personnel support for organizing the event and assisting the participating teams, the University has fully prepared the necessary facilities for the competition.
Notable preparations include a 1,400-seat auditorium for the opening and closing ceremonies, a sports complex, and an exhibition area showcasing the application of science and technology in education and training.
Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU, emphasized:
“As a higher education institution oriented towards excellence, innovation, and sustainability, Ton Duc Thang University always values the role of science and technology in education and national development.
Therefore, accompanying and organizing this meaningful event is not only a source of pride but also a great responsibility for the University in creating opportunities for the younger generation to pursue knowledge and innovation.”
Strong Investment in Scientific Research
Alongside its modern and comprehensive facilities, TDTU is also one of the universities that strongly invests in student scientific research.
Over the past five years, the University has carried out 1,171 student research projects with the participation of more than 3,000 students, providing funding of 4 billion VND for these projects.
Many student research projects have won top prizes in major academic competitions both domestically and internationally.
More than 60 scientific papers authored or co-authored by students have been published in ISI/Scopus-indexed international journals.
To meet the demand for experiencing an academic environment, the University has organized the “Welcome to TDTU Tour and Discover Your Journey” program for participating teams.
Students and teachers will be guided on a tour of various facilities, including the library, laboratory systems, practical training rooms, and simulation rooms. Notably, the library can accommodate up to 3,000 users simultaneously and operates 24/7, while the 3D golf simulation room allows students to refine their skills before practicing on an actual course.
