On the morning of 18 August, 2017, Ton Duc Thang University celebrated the 129th Anniversary of the birth of President Ton Duc Thang (20 August, 1888 – 20 August, 2017), with the participation of Presidential Board, professors, staff members, and students.

The seminar "Organizing Events and Communication in Sport" is an opportunity for TDTU lecturers and students to gain practical knowledge from leading experts. Especially, for students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, this is also an opportunity for them to be more passionate about their choice and to strive to become talent event managers in the future.

On the morning of July 15th, 2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly held The Inauguration Ceremony of the Inspire Library [TDTU Inspire Library] attended by Mr. Ilkka-Pekka Similä, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland to Vietnam; Mr. Tran Thanh Duc, Vice Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee

The Inspire Library of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU INSPIRE Library) was built at the Head Campus (19 Nguyen Huu Tho, Tan Phong Ward, District 7). It has Learning Commons including an area for 24/7 overnight self-study and 7 floors. Each floor has its own paint color with seven familiar accents. The library’s functional areas can serve more than 3000 users at the same time.
