On January 15th, 2017, in the morning, the Vietnamese Students' Association of Ton Duc Thang University (VSA-TDTU) held "Spring Racing Road" and "TDTU's Tet Festival Market" which attracted thousands of students. These were the typical activities for the Spring Volunteer Campaign 2017 to help students in difficult circumstances, with 25 million VNĐ as the total fund.

From the 30th of January to the 2nd of February 2017 (which means from the 3rd to the 6th of Lunar New Year – Year of the Rooster), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomes everyone to see beautiful cherry blossom hill at Bao Loc campus located on Nguyen Tuan Street, Loc Tien Ward, Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province.

The music night was a unique combination of semi-classical and modern music. In addition to the classic Western and contemporary Vietnamese songs, the audience also enjoyed the familiar melodies of the youth from instruments such as Violin, Piano, Guitar, Cajon.

In any society, women, children and the elderly are considered to be among the most vulnerable. To help female students at Ton Duc Thang University enhance their ability to defend themselves against immoral acts deliberately caused by others, TDTU has decided to organize a self-defense course for female students.

TDTU students have made changes in their career orientation and learning attitudes as a result of such a talk about career path.

To celebrate Vietnam’s Book Day on April 21st, as well as honoring the value of books and reading culture, encouraging faculty, staff and students to read more books to intellectualize themselves, Inspire Library and The TDTU department of Media and Public Relations organized the book fair "New horizons" from 20 to 21/04/2017.
