On the morning of December 14th, 2018, the seminar "Globalization and career development opportunities" was held at Hall 10F, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) with nearly 500 participants.

The speaker was Dr. Tran Le Huu Nghia, Ph.D in Education Studies (University of Melbourne, Australia). He is the member of Informetrics Research group of TDTU.

With the story of the development and success of some famous brands, the speaker has brought inspiration of starting the business for students; helped them identify what to prepare for their career besides the task of completing a good academic program. In addition, with the real-life experience, the speaker shared with students some important information when deciding to continue their education by studying aboard such as finding scholarships, preparing for visa interviews, etc.

Globalization is no longer a new concept; but, not everyone pays due attention to make preparation to be ready for the opportunities and challenges ahead. Young people and TDTU students need to focus on preparing for the moment to enter the labor market internationally and working as a global citizen from the university days.
