More Than 2,700 Graduates Receive Degrees from Ton Duc Thang University: Equipped with Knowledge, Ready for Global Integration

On October 17 and 23, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) holds its October 2026 Graduation Ceremonies for 2,740 graduates, including 37 master's degree recipients and 2,703 bachelor's degree recipients, engineers, architects, and pharmacists. These ceremonies not only mark the culmination of the graduates' academic achievements, research, and personal development but also provide an opportunity to reflect on their journeys of growth, highlighting the values of TDTU's human-centered, modern, and internationally integrated educational environment.

In a solemn yet emotional atmosphere, graduates gather at TDTU with their families, loved ones, and lecturers to share the joy of graduation. Academic gowns, beautiful bouquets, radiant smiles, and proud expressions create unforgettable moments, marking the conclusion of one academic chapter and the beginning of another.

Remarkable Achievements

The October 2026 Graduation Ceremonies recognize numerous outstanding achievements in academic performance and personal development among TDTU students. The University honors more than 500 high-achieving graduates, including those graduating with Excellent or Very Good classifications, completing their programs ahead of schedule, and attaining IELTS scores of 8.0 or higher.

Behind these accomplishments are the graduates' dedication to learning, their continuous efforts, the guidance of lecturers, and the University's policies aimed at encouraging and supporting talented students.

TDTU's educational quality is further demonstrated by a graduate employment rate exceeding 99.3%, with several academic programs achieving 100%. All undergraduate programs that have produced graduating cohorts have received international accreditation from organizations such as AUN-QA, FIBAA, and ASIIN.

Alongside its commitment to improving education and research quality, the University emphasizes a comprehensive educational environment that integrates specialized knowledge with ethics, professional skills, discipline, and social responsibility.

Inspiring Journeys

Among the graduates, Nguyen Thi My Hoa, the top graduate in Accounting with a graduation GPA of 9.04/10, stands out as an inspiring example of perseverance in overcoming adversity. Despite living with a congenital mobility impairment, My Hoa graduated with Excellent honors, earned the title of Outstanding Graduate, and received the BKR Sheldon B. Webster Scholarship 2026.

Throughout her four years of study, she received more than VND 255 million in scholarships, tuition waivers, and financial assistance. The dedicated support of her lecturers and the University's student support policies gave My Hoa additional motivation to overcome challenges and continue pursuing her goal of earning a master's degree.

At the postgraduate level, Ly Truong Giang, a former top graduate in Applied Mathematics, successfully completed the 1+1 dual-degree master's program jointly offered by TDTU and the University of L'Aquila (Italy).

With a full-tuition scholarship covering the entire program, Giang achieved excellent academic results, earning a score of 8.96/10 for his master's thesis at TDTU and 109/110 at the University of L'Aquila. He also published a research paper in a Q2-ranked international journal. Giang is currently undertaking a teaching assistant traineeship at TDTU's Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics while pursuing his long-term goals in research and doctoral studies.

The graduation ceremonies also recognize Nuth Sokrite, a Cambodian student who completed the Master's program in Civil Engineering with a graduation project score of 8.5/10, and Le Hoang Vu, a TDTU alumnus who continued his education and successfully completed two master's programs in Accounting and Business Administration.

These inspiring stories reflect TDTU's human-centered educational environment, which emphasizes individual development, encourages scientific research, and expands opportunities for further study and international academic engagement.

Carrying TDTU's Knowledge and Values into a New Chapter

In his address at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trong Dao, Rector of TDTU, congratulated the graduates, acknowledged their dedication to learning and research, and expressed appreciation for the unwavering support of their families and lecturers throughout their journeys.

The Rector encouraged graduates to maintain a proactive approach to lifelong learning, adapt to advances in science and technology and changes in the labor market, and uphold the core values cultivated at TDTU: “Discipline – Courtesy – Professionalism – Creativity – Service.”

Beyond professional competence, graduates are expected to continue nurturing gratitude, integrity, social responsibility, and a strong desire to contribute to society.

“A university's proudest achievements lie not only in what the institution itself has built, but also in what generations of graduates will go on to accomplish after leaving its lecture halls.

Each graduating class represents a continuation of the University's development journey. You will carry the knowledge, confidence, and values cultivated at TDTU into new workplaces, new communities, and new opportunities.

And it is your professional achievements, contributions to society, and personal growth that will continue to build the reputation and pride of Ton Duc Thang University,” the Rector shared.

Filled with joy and emotion, the Graduation Ceremonies mark a meaningful milestone for graduates and their families. From TDTU, graduates confidently embark on new journeys, continuing to develop their capabilities, pursue their aspirations, and make positive contributions to their communities and society.
