The Pilot Congress of the Technical Student Party Cell 2 under the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University, Term 2025–2027
On the morning of January 3, 2025, the Technical Student Party Cell 2 held the 7th Party Congress for the term 2025–2027, designated by the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University as the pilot congress.
Attending to direct the Congress, there was the presence of comrade Vu Anh Duc, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; comrade Tran Trong Dao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, President of the University; comrade Pham Thi Minh Ly, Member of the Standing Committee, Chairperson of the Inspection Committee of the University’s Party Committee; along with representatives of Party-building Boards from the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College, members of the Executive Committee of the University Party Committee, Secretaries and Deputy secretaries of affiliated Party cells, and all members of the Technical Student Party Cell 2.
During the term 2022–2025, the Cell Committee and members of the Technical Student Party Cell 2 demonstrated solidarity and determination, leveraged strengths, and addressed weaknesses; consistently exhibited dynamism and creativity in organizing patriotic emulation movements; led Party members and students to develop firm political and ideological stances, trust in the Party’s reform leadership, and strictly adhere to State laws, University policies and regulations on conduct and study. These efforts contributed significantly to implementing the Three Ethical Conduct Program and promoting the five identification characteristics of Ton Duc Thang University students. Party members and students upheld a strong commitment to learning, engaged in scientific research, and actively participated in the “Student with 5 merits” movement and start-up activities.
At the Congress, Party members engaged in open and frank discussions on the political report, focusing on achievements, analyzing shortcomings, and drawing lessons from the previous term. They also outlined the orientations, objectives, and solutions for the term 2025–2027.
Upholding the spirit of centralism, democracy, and intelligence, the Congress elected the 7th Cell Committee of the Technical Student Party Cell 2 for the term 2025–2027, comprising three members. The Congress re-elected comrade Tran Le Anh Huy as Secretary and comrade Truong Huu Giap as Deputy Secretary. Additionally, delegates were elected to attend the Party Committee Congress of Ton Duc Thang University for the term 2025–2030.
The Congress of the Technical Student Party Cell 2 for the term 2025–2027 concluded successfully, marking the beginning of the Party cell congresses under the University Party Committee for the term 2025–2027 and paving the way to the 4th Party Committee Congress of Ton Duc Thang University for the term 2025–2030.
