On 15/04/2017, Ton Duc Thang University Students’ Association (TDTU) held a solemn meeting of the Students' Association - Term IV (2017-2019) with the participation of 136 official delegates. These are the outstanding people representing more than 20,000 members and students of TDTU. The Meeting also welcomed Mr. Le Hoang Minh, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Student Association, Deputy Director of the Youth Union of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Ms. Bui Viet Ha, Officer of Ho Chi Minh City Student Association Office, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy, the vice-president of TDTU, M.A. Pham Nhat Phuong, Secretary of TDTU’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the deans of faculties and departments, and representatives of Student Associations from other universities.

The Meeting reviewed the work of the Association and the students’ activities of the Third Term (2013-2016), providing directions, goals and action plans for the Fourth Term. The delegates also discussed the comments of the Meeting’s documents excitedly and enthusiastically with an aim to provide many effective solutions to improve the work activities of TDTU students in a sustainable way. More importantly, the Meeting has elected the new Executive Board who are the typical representatives of high prestige and responsibility, who are in a trusted position. The Executive Committee also elected a secretariat of 7 members. One of them is Truong Chi Trung, the president, in addition to Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen and Nguyen Thi Hong, the vice-presidents. The Executive Committee also established the Examination Committee and elected Nguyen Thi Hong as Head of the Examination Committee.

The Meeting of TDTU Vietnam Students’ Association was organized successfully, demonstrating that the students have agreed on the objectives of study, training, the association’s work and TDTU student activities in the coming years, as shown in the slogan of action agreed by the Meeting:
