On the morning of May 27, 2022, the delegation of Thai Nguyen Vocational School led by Ms. Le Thi Bich - Principal had a visit and working session with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President of TDTU together with Heads of a number of faculties and functional units welcomed and worked with the delegation.
At the meeting, the two sides discussed issues relating to school governance, especially the autonomous school - a model pioneered by TDTU and has achieved some success.
Ms. Le Thi Bich expressed her admiration for the fresh educational environment, the modernity of facilities and the professionalism and friendliness of each person at TDTU. Visiting, exchanging and learning about actual experiences at TDTU will help the Presidential Board of Thai Nguyen Vocational School to select and apply them to their own establishment. This will improve governance efficiency and promote the school’s development in an effective and sustainable direction.
The delegation was guided to visit a number of typical buildings at TDTU such as the Library, Vietnam - Finland International School (VFIS), Sports Complex, and the Dormitories. During the visit, the delegation was specifically introduced to content on how to operate and exploit construction work to better serve students and increase investment efficiency.
Formerly being the Thai Nguyen Employment Service Center under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, the school has functioned with the aim of formally training and retraining human resources. Furthermore, the school educates about human resources in various fields at different levels in order to meet the needs of society and serve the country in this period of renewal, development and integration. Over the past 10 years, the school has contributed to society and many workers with 3/7 qualifications and vocational training levels; providing training and education orientation for more than 36,000 employees; introducing jobs and supplying labor forces for labor export companies with over 10,000 workers.
