In 2018, NICS was co-hosted by TDTU and NAFOSTED; and is technically sponsored by IEEE. The conference attracted 140 articles from scientists from many countries in the world such as Korea, Taiwan, USA, UK, Canada, Indonesia, Israel, Germany, India, Thailand, Czech Republic, Mauritius, France, Norway, Japan, Morocco, China and Vietnam. Following the peer review process of the program committee with over 200 international scientists, 72 accepted papers presented at the conference and 10 presentations.
