TDTU Party Committee Holds Party Badge Presentation Ceremony and Mid-Year Review Conference on Party Building Work in 2026
On June 30, 2026, the Party Committee of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to present Party Badges and convened a conference to review Party-building work during the first six months of the year and outline key tasks for the remaining six months of 2026.
Attending and providing direction at the conference was comrade Doan Truong Quang, Head of the Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization under the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The program commenced with a solemn ceremony during which the TDTU Party Committee presented the 45-Year Party Membership Badge to cỏmade Ha Thi La, a member of Administrative Party Cell No. 1. The distinction recognizes her long-standing dedication, contributions, and steadfast commitment to the Party. On this occasion, the University Party Committee also presented her with a commemorative gold plaque in appreciation of her valuable contributions throughout her career.
The conference heard a report reviewing Party-building work during the first half of 2026 and presenting key directions and tasks for the second half of the year. The report comprehensively assessed achievements in Party-building activities while identifying priority tasks aimed at further enhancing leadership effectiveness, strengthening Party organizations, and ensuring the successful implementation of the University's political and professional missions.
During the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged ideas on solutions to improve the effectiveness of Party-building work in the current context. In his remarks, the representative of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee acknowledged the achievements attained by the TDTU Party Committee and provided guidance on several key priorities for continued implementation in the coming period.
Concluding the conference, comrade Tran Trong Dao, Secretary of the TDTU Party Committee and President of the University, received and acknowledged the guidance provided by higher-level Party authorities. He called upon all Party members to continue fostering solidarity and innovation, enhance the leadership capacity and combativeness of Party organizations, and strive to successfully accomplish the University's political and professional objectives for 2026, thereby contributing to the effective implementation of TDTU's development strategy toward becoming a research-oriented university.
On this occasion, the TDTU Party Committee also commended and rewarded four collectives and twenty-nine individuals for their outstanding achievements in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and lifestyle in 2026.
