Participants from the Party Committee included Mr. Pham Thien Kha, Standing Deputy Secretary of Group Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College; Mrs. Dinh Thi Thao Trang, Chairwoman of the Inspection Committee; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Viet, Deputy Head of the Organization Commission; Mrs. Do Thi Ha, Head of Office; and Mr. Luong Cong Lenh, Official of the Party Committee bloc. The Representative of the Local Party Committee was Mr. Phan Hong Loc, Party Committee Secretary of Tan Phong Ward. Mr. Dang Ngoc Tung, Former Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Former President of the University Board; Members of University Board; and all units’ leaders of TDTU were also present.

The Congress convened 100 official delegates, divided into 2 sessions: preparatory session and official session. With the theme “Effectiveness, fairness, sustainable development to serve the country”, the Congress discussed and approved the Report on the results of implementing the Resolution of the University Party Committee Congress Term 2015-2020; as well as Directions and Goals of the Term 2020-2025 and resolutions of important tasks and targets of the Term 2020-2025.

In addition, the Congress took the time to give comments on the documents of the upper Party Congress and elect the Official Delegates to attend the Congress of Group Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College.
