TDTU Summer Camp 2026: Fostering Connections, Inspiring a New Academic Year
From July 22 to 24, 2026, nearly 1,500 lecturers and staff of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), along with their family members, participated in TDTU Summer Camp 2026 in Long Hai under the theme “Fostering Connections – Growing Together.” The event not only provided an opportunity for relaxation, interaction, and stronger bonds among participants but also inspired renewed motivation and reinforced the University’s spirit of unity as it prepares for academic year 2026–2027.
The Summer Camp is an annual event that reflects TDTU’s distinctive culture and demonstrates the University’s commitment to the well-being of its lecturers and staff. It also provides an opportunity for lecturers and staff and their families to relax after a year of dedicated work, strengthen bonds among colleagues, and foster a greater spirit of unity across the University.
As part of the program, lecturers and staff and their family members took part in a variety of recreational, social, and team-building activities. In addition to beach games and group bonding activities, the University gathering held on the afternoon of July 23, 2026, created many memorable moments and inspired all participants with a renewed sense of positivity.
Through a year-in-review video highlighting the achievements of academic year 2025–2026, lecturers and staff looked back on the University’s key milestones and accomplishments throughout the past academic year. The vibrant and welcoming atmosphere of the gathering fostered a strong sense of unity and renewed determination to achieve new goals in academic year 2026–2027.
On this occasion, the University Trade Union launched the emulation movement for academic year 2026–2027, with three key priorities: achieving quality objectives and development targets; effectively carrying out tasks in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation; and fostering the spirit of proactiveness, creativity, and responsibility among lecturers and staff.
Nearly 1,500 participants joined in a resounding chant of “Quyết tâm!” (Vietnamese for “determination”), creating an atmosphere charged with energy and demonstrating the TDTU community’s determination to achieve the goals of the new academic year. The gathering concluded on a memorable note as the Ton Duc Thang University March resonated amid the glow of thousands of mobile phone flashlights, creating a moving image of unity and collective strength.
As TDTU Summer Camp 2026 came to a close, the values of unity, mutual support, and togetherness will continue to inspire the University’s lecturers and staff. Energized and inspired, they are ready to embark on academic year 2026–2027 with a spirit of proactiveness, creativity, responsibility, and determination to continue building a strong and sustainable University.
