On October 18, 2024 and November 1, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) holds the graduation ceremony for undergraduate and graduate students in Phase 2, 2024. In this graduation phase, there are 3,921 undergraduate students and 49 graduate students who have completed their study programs.
Presiding over the ceremony was Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Chairman of the Science and Training Council, President of TDTU, along with members of Presidential Board, members of The Science and Training Council, and Heads of Faculties, Departments and Units under TDTU.
The University honored more than 600 students with high achievements in studying, including those who graduated with Excellent and Very Good performance, graduated 1 year ahead of schedule, achieved English level of 8.5 IELTS or higher, won many outstanding awards in scientific research, arts and sports. There were 4 international students (Thai, Indian and Nigerian) studying full-time at the University who were awarded doctoral degrees in this phase.
On this occasion, the President delivered a message to new graduates: The degree that you hold in your hands today is a recognition of your efforts and you are at a new starting position. The journey ahead will require perseverance, determination, and above all, a spirit of continuous learning. “The road ahead is what really matters. It is longer, more challenging and requires more efforts from you. However, I believe that those challenges will train you and help you shine. Always carry within you a burning desire, which will be the torch guiding you through all difficulties”.
Persisting in the goal of developing into a research university, Ton Duc Thang University continuously updates its training programs and methods according to international standards. It has completed the accreditation of 41 undergraduate and graduate programs according to international standards such as AUN-QA, FIBAA, and ASIIN. Especially, the University has also been recognized as an educational institution that meets international accreditation standards by HCÉRES (2018-2023) and FIBAA (2024-2030). FIBAA’s recognition is of great significance in affirming TDTU’s position in the region and the world.
The above achievements in quality assessment and world university rankings are proof of Ton Duc Thang University’s internationally-standardized training environment. TDTU students are trained in depth in their expertise and profession, and equipped with diverse skills to adapt to the labor market and integrate into the world. The employment rate of students is over 98%, and 100% for some majors. TDTU graduates, who are equipped with the three ethical conduct, are highly appreciated by employers for their discipline, courtesy and professionalism.
