During August 7-9, 2024, nearly 1,000 staff members of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), along with their families and loved ones, had a vibrant, meaningful, and emotional time at the University’s Annual Gathering for lecturers and staff (Summer Camp 2024).
Early in the morning, the various units gathered and took cheerful “check-in” photos, marking the start of an exciting trip.
On the first day, members of the TDTU family came together to form the University’s logo, participated in dynamic team-building games, and strengthened their bonds during a campfire night on the Vung Tau beach.
On August 8, 2024, all staff members participated in a meeting to review the academic year 2023-2024. The University announced the decision to award and presented certificates of merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements during the academic year. The University’s leadership praised and recognized the efforts and contributions of the staff and encouraged them to continue their dedication and positive contributions to the University’s development in the new academic year.
Representing the University’s staff, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Tam, a lecturer from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, and Mr. Chau Bao Anh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law, expressed their gratitude to the University, showing pride and a united commitment to continue dedicating themselves to the field of education through daily efforts, ready to enter a new academic year with even more impressive results and achievements.
The Summer Camp concluded with a gala night full of laughter, youthful energy, and enthusiasm in a friendly and open atmosphere, leaving lasting memories for each TDTU member.
The Summer Camp is an annual activity organized by the University’s Trade Union in coordination with various functional units to provide the University’s staff with a time to rest, relax, strengthen colleague relationships, and create opportunities for networking and meeting between units. Each year, TDTU employees are well taken care of in both material and spiritual aspects through events like Year-end parties, Lunar New Year celebrations, the University-wide Summer Camp, annual health check-ups, music performances, sports activities, networking events, professional and skill training sessions, among others.
