On June 28, 2024, the Council of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held its 19th meeting of the term 2021-2026, chaired by Dr. Vu Anh Duc, Chairman of the Council.

During the meeting, Dr. Tran Trong Dao, President of TDTU, on behalf of the Presidential Board, reported on the University’s activities between the two meetings and major policies to be presented to the University Council. The reports from the Presidential Board covered academic affairs, organizational activities, project investment, financial management, and several policies for students.

The University Council highly appreciated and unanimously approved the reports presented by the Presidential Board during the meeting. They also proposed solutions to address remaining issues and passed several important resolutions.

It is noteworthy that, during this meeting, the University Council approved the University’s Educational philosophy, Mission, Vision, Long-term goals, Slogan, Culture (Core values), and Code of conduct for the upcoming period. The University Council also approved the summary report evaluating the results of the third five-year plan (2019-2024) and the draft direction for Ton Duc Thang University’s fourth five-year development plan (2025-2030).
