On January 27, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the opening ceremony of the Master’s and Doctoral Degree programs in 2023, phase 2 for 47 admitted candidates, including 2 PhD students and 45 Master’s students.

Attending the ceremony were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President of TDTU, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Le Minh - Head of the School of Graduate Studies, and leaders of related Faculties, Institutes and Departments.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy sent his congratulations to the admitted students and expressed his hope that they would make the most of the support and study conditions at the University to promote their research capacity, and enhance professional knowledge. Thus, after completing the study program with good results, they as the high-quality human resource could contribute to the country’s socio-economic development.

Mr. Tran Gia Huy who majors in the Master’s degree program in Applied Mathematics of the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, on behalf of new graduate students, thanked the Presidential Board and leaders of the University for their attentiveness and creating favourable conditions for study and research activities. He also expressed his determination to achieve positive results during his time studying at the University.

Postgraduate training has become one of the priority goals of TDTU in its journey to become an elite research university by 2037. Overtime, graduate students from TDTU have been achieving success in their careers, holding key positions in different domestic and international departments, agencies, enterprises, and institutes. This contributes to affirming the position and prestige of TDTU in the higher education system.
