The U-22 Vietnam's football team (U 22) won the SEA Games Gold Medal after a convincing 3-0 victory over Indonesia, an aspiration for the past 60 years has finally come true!

On the afternoon of 10 December 2019, just before the final match, 5,000 TDTU students performed a flash mob named Vietnam Aspiration to support the U22 players at Ton Duc Thang University’s 2-star FIFA stadium, where the team trained.

This is by far the performance with the largest number of students ever as recorded in Vietnam Record Book.
Immediately after the performance, TDTU students watched the live broadcast from a giant 5m x10m LED screen.

Before leaving for the Philippines, Head Coach - Park Hang Seo and his team had a five-day training program right on the field of TDTU stadium that attracted special attention of TDTU students and the media.

At the moment of joyful victory, many people were cheering that: U22 trained here! Also, TDTU students had the most impressive performance to welcome the victory.

TDTU is always the place to nurture success. From the success of the Youth Team, we can hope that in the near future, the national men's football team will reach even more excellent achievements on the basis of the core players of this victory.
