Announcement on the Policy for Attracting Experts, Scientists and Highly Qualified Human Resources

With the objective of developing high-quality human resources for teaching, research and management, thereby promoting sustainable and substantive development in accordance with international standards, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) announces the policy on attracting and offering incentives to personnel with the following key contents:

1. Target groups: (i) academic staff: professors, associate professors, and PhD holders in disciplines aligned with the University’s training needs; (ii) research staff: experts and scientists holding doctoral degrees or higher with outstanding scientific research capabilities; (iii) management staff: highly qualified personnel performing management duties in accordance with the Job Position Scheme of the University (appointed to leadership and professional management positions).

2. Incentive policy

2.1. Additional allowance (applicable to newly recruited personnel)

In addition to income and benefits provided under current regulations, experts, scientists, and academic staff holding high academic titles and degrees (Prof./Assoc. Prof./Dr.) who become staff members of TDTU shall be entitled to a special recruitment incentive allowance for a period of 24 months from the date they commence employment at the University, as follows:

2.2. Special policies

- Professors, Associate Professors, distinguished experts, and scientists shall be given priority consideration for office space allocation, accommodation support in the University’s staff housing, and enrollment in health insurance programs in accordance with the University’s regulations.

- Experts and scientists who are full-time researchers and research assistants of the University shall be entitled to allowances based on their academic titles or degrees at the rate of VND 12,000,000/month for Professors, VND 10,000,000/month for Associate Professors, and VND 4,500,000/month for Doctors.

- Scientists who are academic staff engaged in registered research activities shall also be entitled to incentives in addition to their monthly salary, with remuneration of up to VND 360,000,000 for each scientific publication.

2.3. Policy for encouraging the enhancement of internal capacity for full-time staff members of the University

In addition to its policy for attracting new human resources, TDTU places special emphasis on developing its existing workforce. Staff members of the University who attain the required academic title shall be entitled to:

- A reward upon appointment as Professor or Associate Professor at TDTU

- An additional income of VND 12,000,000/month for Professors and VND 7,000,000/month for Associate Professors.
