On the afternoon of May 19th, 2018, the Trade Union of universities and colleges from the Emulation Group No.2 organized the Tu Hung Cup Football at Ton Duc Thang University Stadium (TDTU), to celebrate the 128th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19th, 1890- May 19th, 2018) with the participation of 4 teams: Ton Duc Thang University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), Open University (OU) and University of Finance-Marketing (UFM).
To promote the movement of physical training and development of mass sport following President Ho Chi Minh’s example, and to encourage the sport practice for unionists, the Tu Hung Cup Football at TDTU this time was very vibrant and expanded the unity among the units in the Emulation Group No. 2 under the Federation of Labor of Ho Chi Minh City.
The tournament took place in the spirit of noble sports with the final result: TDTU won the championship; OU won the 2nd prize; the 3rd prize and the incentive prize respectively belonged to UEH and UFM. Mr. Thach Sot Mai Ly from TDTU won the Player of the Year award.
