On the evening of December 10, 2023, the Final of the 15th National "Student Voice" Contest was held, and the student team of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) achieved many outstanding prizes.
In their performance, TDTU students performed a mashup of the songs "Việt Nam quê hương tôi - Việt Nam tươi đẹp - Việt Nam ơi" by expressing a unique combination of tradition and modernity which is the theme of the Contest to be praising love for the homeland, country, school, teachers and friends; expressing students' dreams, aspirations, feelings, and responsibilities towards themselves, their families, and the community.
In the end, TDTU students excellently achieved the following prizes: Third Prize for the entire Delegation; Prize for Promising Vocalist at the National Student Voice Contest; Consolation prize for the performance of the National Student Voice Contest.
Previously, at the Final of the 2023 National "Student Voice" Contest - Southern region, Ton Duc Thang University's performance surpassed 18 teams from universities with 53 performances and more than 400 contestants competed to win the First Prize for the entire Delegation.
Mr. Tran Van Dat - Director of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs - Ministry of Education and Training highly appreciated the role of leaders of competition delegations in directing and encouraging contestants to stay calm, confident, united; show off their full potential so that each competition truly becomes a meaningful art program for audiences and students nationwide.
The contest was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ocean Education Joint Stock Company (Ocean Edu) is a companion unit.
The contest has become the largest traditional cultural and artistic activity for students nationwide to educate revolutionary traditions, train morality, ideology, community consciousness, and promote cultural identity to many young generations of Vietnam.
