TDTU Media Representative Faces 2026: Spreading the Image of the New-Generation Student
On the evening of April 24, 2026, at Hall 6M, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Final Night of the contest titled “Ton Duc Thang University Representative Faces – TDTU Destination 2026.” The event marked a highlight in the journey to find outstanding student representatives who embody the courage, intellect, style, and spirit of TDTU students in the modern era.
This year’s competition aimed to select students with images suitable for media activities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of the University, Faculties, and academic programs. More importantly, contestants were expected to demonstrate confidence, critical thinking, talent, and the spirit of TDTU students in a new era. Beyond selecting visually representative faces, TDTU Destination 2026 also contributed to promoting the model of TDTU students characterized by five key traits: discipline, politeness, professionalism, creativity, and devotion. These students are ready to accompany the University in communication efforts and in promoting the image of a modern, dynamic, and internationally integrated public educational environment.
After three challenging rounds designed to comprehensively assess style, skills, mindset, and personal communication ability, the top 32 contestants representing different Faculties advanced to the final night. In the finale, they competed in two segments: Shining Stars and Lightning Debate. While Shining Stars focused on evaluating camera presence, charisma, confidence, and teamwork, Lightning Debate tested contestants’ sharp thinking, confidence, articulation, and flexibility in handling situations.
Through these rounds, the competition clearly demonstrated that TDTU’s selection of media representatives goes beyond physical appearance, emphasizing inner beauty, intelligence, talent, positive attitude, and the ability to inspire others. The performances were carefully prepared and creative, reflecting the contestants’ confidence, eagerness to improve, and awareness of representing the University’s image. Many performances left strong impressions on both the judges and the audience, contributing to portraying TDTU students as professional, modern, and energetic.
In the final results, the titles of Outstanding Representative Faces 2026 were awarded to Nguyen Hoang Gia Bao (Faculty of Information Technology) and Doan Tran Ngoc Han (Faculty of Business Administration). Additionally, the award for Most Popular Video was given to Phan Thi Hoai Giao from the Faculty of Labour Relations and Trade Unions.
The selected representatives will become student ambassadors, participating in professional communication programs of the University throughout 2026. This initiative also reflects TDTU’s continued effort to promote the role of students in spreading the University’s cultural values through their own images, stories, capabilities, and the spirit of the younger generation.
