TDTU Games 2026 Concludes: Fostering Sportsmanship and Student Connections
On May 22, 2026, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Closing and Award Ceremony of TDTU Games 2026, marking the conclusion of more than two months of vibrant and spirited competition among students across the University.
With the theme “Ignite Your Fire,” the event attracted 1,395 participants from 16 Faculties competing in eight sports, alongside enthusiastic support from a large number of students. Through exciting competitions and intense matches, TDTU Games 2026 continued to affirm its role as a meaningful activity in student life, contributing to the development of a dynamic, healthy, and connected educational environment at TDTU.
Final Standings:
- The Faculty of Sport Science won First Place overall with 13 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 5 bronze medals;
- The Faculty of Business Administration secured Second Place overall with 4 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals;
- The Faculty of Environment and Labour Safety achieved Third Place overall with 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals;
- The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering received the Consolation Prize overall with 2 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals;
In addition to the overall team awards, the University also presented more than 50 awards to outstanding participants, as well as collectives and individuals achieving high results across various competition categories.
The medals awarded at the ceremony not only recognized and honored the efforts of the collectives and individuals participating in the Games, but also served as encouragement for students to continue promoting physical training, fostering determination, and spreading positive energy in both their studies and daily life.
Organized on a large scale and in a professional manner, TDTU Games is not only a sporting event for students, but also reflects the University’s commitment to supporting students’ learning, personal development, and character building, in line with the philosophy of “Liberal Education for Comprehensive Human Development” pursued by TDTU.
