On April 28, 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly organized the graduation ceremony for Master's and Bachelor’s Degree Holders.
There was the attendance of Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, Chairman of the Science and Training Council of TDTU, deans of faculties, and heads of functional departments of the University at the ceremony. There was also the presence of lecturers, staff, parents, and more than 2,400 new masters, engineers, bachelors, architects, and pharmacists who were certified to graduate in 2020 and 2021.
In the opening speech, Dr. Tran Trong Dao expressed his gratitude to all students for overcoming all challenges during the past time, and to parents for their valuable companionship and support to achieve today's results. He said: “In the flat world with advanced technology, all barriers are no longer limited. TDTU has been strongly internationalizing for students to access modern education in the process of global integration with the most solid knowledge, best mindset, and skills as a preparation for students to open a new chapter of their life confidently in every area.” He advised gently that: “I and all lecturers and staff of TDTU are extremely proud to have you as students of the University. … I hope you will strive for your family, for yourselves, and for the future to prepare for the days of working independently, dedicatedly, and devotedly. After a long time of studying, let's cherish and be grateful for the past, the days when lecturers and students had strived together, the days when being raised by parents..."
In this graduation, 277 students graduated with distinction; 43 students graduated 1 semester, 1 academic year ahead of schedule; 90 students graduated with high English scores. All were honored.
On behalf of the new graduates, Tran Thi Dieu An - a new graduate of the Faculty of Business Administration expressed her thoughts in happiness: "In this meaningful moment, I reminisce about the time of three and a half years ago when I had just become a new student of TDTU; and really happy to receive the degree after sailing on the knowledge boat of TDTU. We are grateful to our parents for giving birth and nurturing us, we are grateful to the lecturers for imparting knowledge, creating all conditions for us to study and participate in extraordinary activities to improve our skills, behavior, and most of all, being also spiritual support, a candle that lights up dreams and belief in a bright future. On behalf of all new graduates, I promise to try my best on the career path to become a useful person to express my gratitude to lecturers and parents. Sincerely thank you."
Over the past 25 years, with many generations of students who have graduated and achieved success, TDTU deserves to be the source of creativity and maximize the capacity of each individual with the love and devotion of each lecturer and staff. Degrees have been given to deserving people, so that they can all become excellent citizens of society.
