Starting from February 20, 2023, TDTU MC Contest 2023 came to an end on April 13 with top performances of the 8 excellent contestants.
Attending the final round were Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President, Ms. Dang Thi Kim Anh (Master) - Manager of the Department of Student Affairs and Head of the contest organizing committee, and leaders of TDTU units. The judges included MC Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Thao - Founder of Sun&Moon Academy, Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan Huy - CEO of Sun&Moon Academy, Journalist and MC Vu Manh Cuong - Head of the Communications Department of Greenpeace Fund, Journalist and MSc. Nguyen Huynh Giao from Voice of Vietnam, and Master of Psychology Trinh Phuong Thao - Lecturer of TDTU Division of Life Skills Training.
With the theme "Vibe of the voice", the contestants went through many competitions from qualifying, teamwork, talent competition, improvisation, interacting with guests to behavioural interviews. Through well-invested and well-prepared competitions, TDTU students have demonstrated creative thinking and multi-dimensional views on social issues, spreading positive values about the Three ethical conduct and Five identification characteristics of TDTU students to the audiences. The judges highly appreciated the confidence, clarity and intelligence in the way the contestants handled situations in the competition.
Overcoming nearly 100 contestants, Thai Thi Phuong Uyen, student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, excellently won the Golden Mic Award. Silver Mic Award belonged to Nguyen Ho Ai Phi, student of the Faculty of Sports Science, Bronze Mic Award was awarded to Doan Le Que Tran, student of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
With this contest, the contestants were able to participate in meaningful activities such as creative language skills training, MC expertise, and volunteering at Long Hoa Orphanage in District 7. The contest is not only a playground for TDTU students to show off their MC skills, but also an opportunity for contestants to exchange, learn, and practice the spirit of mutual affection and dedication towards society.
