On January 6, 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint the title of Associate Professor to Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly and Dr. Do Nguyen Van Vuong.

Attendees at the ceremony included Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President, Heads of units under TDTU, and Head lecturers of departments of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly is currently the Secretary of the University Council for the term 2021-2026, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration with outstanding scientific achievements including the main author of many works in prestigious domestic and foreign scientific journals, chair of many national and provincial research projects, and editor of a textbook and a monograph.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Nguyen Van Vuong is currently the Head lecturer of the Department of Basic Engineering of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. He has published many scholarly works in international journals under the ISI list, participated in and chaired a number of national-level and unit-level research projects, and research cooperation projects with foreign countries.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly shared that it was a great honor in her life for choosing education and science to dedicate for many years. That was also an important responsibility for her to strive more in order to deserve the recognition of the State and Ton Duc Thang University.

Dr. Tran Trong Dao, on behalf of the university’s leaders, congratulated the two newly appointed Associate Professors, and encouraged the efforts of other lecturers in their careers.
