TDTU Commences the Lunar New Year 2025 with Vibrant and Meaningful Activities
On February 5, 2025, following the Lunar New Year holiday, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) initiated the “At Ty” Lunar New Year with a series of dynamic and meaningful activities in a joyful atmosphere filled with positive energy.
The day’s events commenced with a solemn incense offering ceremony at the President Ton Duc Thang’s monument, attended by the University’s key officials.
On this occasion, the University’s key officials convened for the first meeting of the new year. The University’s leaders extended their best wishes to the leaders of units under TDTU, aiming to inspire, encourage, and motivate Faculties/ Departments/ Boards and units to work efficiently and successfully accomplish the academic year’s goals and responsibilities.
Immediately after the meeting, TDTU hosted an online access point for the national conference on dissemination and implementation of Law on Trade Union No. 50/2024/QH15 and Law on Social Insurance No. 41/2024/QH15, organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour. The conference was held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation.
Following these activities, the University’s staff and lecturers attended the first gathering of the Lunar New Year 2025. In the bustling and cheerful atmosphere of the Lunar New Year, on behalf of the University Council and the Presidential Board, Dr. Vu Anh Duc – Chairman of the University Council, and Dr. Tran Trong Dao - TDTU President, extended their warmest wishes of well-being, happiness, and success to all lecturers, staff and their family members. They also expressed their aspirations for collective effort, unity, and perseverance among the University community, encouraging everyone to maximize their capabilities to achieve the academic year’s goals, contributing to the University’s sustainable growth and global advancement.
The meeting took place in a cozy atmosphere. After the joyful and vibrant musical performances, there was the moment of giving lucky money to all TDTU lecturers and staff. The University’s Trade Union also organized a lucky draw session for participants with meaningful and valuable gifts. The joyful and exciting activities at the beginning of the Lunar New Year brought a spirit of optimism and spread positive energy to all TDTU staff and lecturers, promising a great new year with numerous new successes.
