On the morning of June 20th, 2018, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a workshop on "Study in the U.S." with the speakers from the U.S. Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City, Education USA and the American Center.
The TDTU lecturers and students had an opportunity to listen to a lot of practical information about the culture and education of the U.S. as well as important information for studying in the U.S. such as the current U.S. education system, U.S. Government scholarship policy, visa application procedures and some misconceptions should be avoided during visa interviews. In addition, on this occasion, the speakers also introduced TDTU students the opportunity to become interns at the U.S. Embassy as well as introduced them the English learning Programs and the Intellectual stimulation activity “American Challenge” to help students develop language skills and problem-solving skills, so that they are confident of being an active U.S. overseas student from now at TDTU.
