Mother’s Day, which originates from Europe and North America, is celebrated on the second Sunday of May to honor all the mothers in the world.  To stress the importance of this special day, S-TDT Communications conducted a campaign called My University! My mom has not been here once! ... This is created with the desire to provide students’ mothers with the opportunity to visit Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) where their children study, and nurture their virtues. The visit is hoped to not only confirm their children’s choice but strengthen their drives so that their children can soon fulfill their dreams of showing filial piety and serving the community. Nguyễn Thị Kim Chung, a student of the Faculty of Fine Arts recalled: “My Mom and I were so happy enjoying the program. This is one of the best memories. I will never forget studying here. Following the visit, I seemed to have more strength to complete my program of study, making her expectations and all her sacrifices she has made for me worthwhile”.

My university! My mom has not been here once!… is closed with emotional moments. TDTU is more than willing to welcome parents to the university to have a campus tour and experience the learning environment of the students. Your visits are believed to encourage students’ learning spirit so that they have more motivation in obtaining achievements expected by their parents.
