On the morning of September 20, 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) formally held its Graduation Ceremony recognizing 125 new postgraduates, as well as 1,758 new graduates, engineers and architects who successfully completed their degree programs.
On this occasion, the University also commended several new graduates, engineers and architects with recognition for their outstanding achievements: 16 of whom who graduated with excellence in June, while the remaining 119 graduated in September; 18 of whom achieved an international English certificate with outstanding scores; and a few of whom published scientific papers on ISI / Scopus.
New graduate Vo Thi Thanh Ngoc of the Faculty of Foreign Languages, representing the new postgraduates, graduates and engineers, expressed her gratitude to the teachers and their families: “Thanks to the help of the teachers and a friendly learning environment, we were inspired with an abundance of confidence that enabled us to complete our studies. With specialization in the major of English language, we were uniquely prepared to study in an English-only atmosphere. The curriculum has been selected from the world's 100 best universities. We also had the chance to study with prestigious professors and lecturers who not only enriched our knowledge, but also delivered each lesson with passion and a commitment to learning. I have come to understand the importance of school as a community that teaches us about society at large. One need only look to our president, an individual who is so devoted and wise, in addition to being a humble teacher with great vision. Here, at TDTU, we are taught gratitude toward our parents and families, and the importance of a comprehensive education and unselfish way of life.”
