After many rounds of selection and competition, on April 13, 2023, at Hall 10F of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), the final round of the debate contest, namely WEtalk 4, with the theme "Pioneer of Innovation" took place with a thrilling competition of the eight best contestants.
On the final night, the contestants adopted their specialized knowledge and societal issues and integrated soft skills into their presentations subtly to give coherent arguments combined with persuasive evidence to defend their points of view.
The panel of judges praised the contestants' careful preparation and presentation, especially their eloquence, creativity, problem-solving and communication skills. These are also the essential skills students need to adapt to the constant changes in the digital age.
The final results are as follows:
- First Prize: Do Tra My from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
- Second Prize: Nguyen Nghiep Tri from the Faculty of Labor Relations and Trade Unions
- Third Prize: Bui Tri Lan from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
- The Consolation Prize: Huynh Ngoc Nhu from the Faculty of Law and Bui Nguyen Uyen Nhi from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
- The most loved contestant: Bui Nguyen Uyen Nhi from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
- The contestant with the most powerful message: Nguyen Huu Kha from the Faculty of Business Administration
The contest was held to create a healthy and useful playground, helping students sharpen their communication skills and express their views confidently, thereby improving their knowledge, training their sensitive thinking, and upgrading more soft skills for their future career path.
