Final Round of the Chief Marketing Officer Contest Season IX

On the evening of April 14, 2023, the final round of the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) contest season IX with the theme “Business Marketing - Start up” took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The guests in the final round of the CMO 2023 contest were Mr. Le Trong Hung - Founder and CEO of NamiQ AI, Mr. Nguyen Cuong Thinh - Brand Manager of Dell Vietnam, Ms. Vo Huynh Minh Xuan - Director of Operations at Wisdom Agency, Mr. Ngo Tan Vu Khanh - Country Director of KASPERSKY, and Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Van - Co-founder and CEO of IBC Corp.

From TDTU, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Standing Party Committee member, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, lecturers, staff, along with more than 300 students.

Season IX of the CMO contest has attracted 26 teams from different universities in Ho Chi Minh City, from which the top 16 have been selected, and then the best 5 to the final round. After more than 3 hours of heated debates among the teams, the first prize was awarded to Team "Kén” (Cocoons), the alliance between Ton Duc Thang University and ISB Institute - University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. Other teams of TDTU in alliance with universities in the city also won many important prizes.

CMO is a prestigious city-wide academic playground, organized annually by TDTU’s Faculty of Business Administration for students majoring in Economics - especially in the field of Marketing. The contest is not only highly professional but also an opportunity for students to solve real problems, connect with students from other universities. It also helps businesses to look for future talented professionals.
