On the morning of September 14 of 2019, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a Conference of lecturers and officials for Academic Year 2019-2020. Mr. Tran Van Thuat, Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen My Phi Phung, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Education Union (HCMC); Mr. Nguyen Manh Ha, Member of Executive Committee, Deputy Chief of Office of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Huy Can, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Study Promotion Association, Member of the University Council; Prof. Le Vinh Danh, Secretary of the University Party Committee, President of TDTU and 173 delegates officially convened representing 1,346 lecturers and officials of TDTU attended the Conference.

The Conference reviewed the results of implementing the objectives of Academic Year 2018-2019, reported the results of implementing the Conference Resolution of Academic Year 2018-2019, voted the orientation and content of the objectives for Academic Year 2019-2020; and launched the emulation movement for all University departments, faculties and centers. The University also announced the results of the competition movement of Academic Year 2018-2019, rewarded the collectives and individuals who successfully completed the tasks and had positive contributions to the development of the University in the past academic year.
