Ton Duc Thang University lecturer was presented the Golden Globe Awards 2020

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Chinh, a lecturer of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, is one of 10 outstanding young faces receiving the Golden Globe Awards 2020.

The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology have just awarded the Youth Science and Technology Prize (Golden Globe Awards) to young talents with excellent achievements in science and technology. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Chinh, the Lecturer of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), is one of 10 young faces to be awarded in 2020.

Dr. Chinh, who was born in 1990, is an alumnus of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at TDTU and has been working as a lecturer of the Faculty.

He has 37 scientific articles published in international journals, of which 15 articles are in the Q1 list (being the main author of 11 articles); 05 articles in Q2 (being the main author of 2 articles); 10 articles in Q3 (being the main author of 6 articles); 07 articles in Q4 (being the main author of 3 articles).

With excellent research achievements, Dr. Chinh has been invited to review 16 ISI journals of 7 major publishers in the world such as: Nature, Elsevier, Springer, Wiley, SAGE, Taylor & Francis, and American Chemical Society.

In 2018, Dr. Chinh received the "Travel Grant Award" (MOST-107- 2922-I-011-086) of the Taiwan Ministry of Science and Technology. His research capacity has been demonstrated since he was a university student by participating in research groups led by lecturers, receiving student scientific research awards, and many valuable scholarships.
