On the morning of May 10th 2017, Folk Games Festival 2017 took place at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) and attracted many students. Most of the games were associated with children in Vietnam such as: eating mandarin, stilts game, tug of war, stall dancing, marble shooting....

In the afternoon of 16th May 2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) welcomed Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Chairman of TTC Group and the Board Former Chairman of Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Bank (Sacombank) visited and had a meeting with all lecturers as well as students of TDTU.

On May 12 2017, Trade Union of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the Lecturers-Staff Musical Performance 2017. This is the annual activity to celebrate Liberation Day 30/04; International Labor Day 01/05; and the Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh 19/05, and in particular to celebrate the 20th anniversary of TDTU (24/09/1997-24/09/2017)

Following successes from two previous seasons, the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University, in conjunction with Vietnam International Marketing Association (SMEI Vietnam) officially launched the competition Finding Creative Marketers 2017

On the morning of April 28th 2017, TDTU honorably organized a graduation ceremony in April, 2017. The ceremony was attended by the presidential board, faculty deans, department heads, lecturers, parents and 88 master students and 1128 bachelor students in engineering who were awarded degrees. Delivering a speech at a graduation ceremony, Prof. Lê Vinh Danh, the TDTU President has honorably congratulated all the new degree holders on their hard work and efforts to complete their demanding programs successfully.
