Chartered Financial Analyst: CFA Institute recently made an inspection and recognition of the training program of the Faculty of Finance-Banking of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) with the standard teaching knowledge about 70% of the minimum requirements of the CFA; and in particular, the education program at TDTU emphasizes ethics and professional standards.
From this recognition, students from high quality programs at the Faculty of Finance-Banking TDTU will be equipped with the knowledge, skills and international standards to get the international certificate of the CFA. Students will therefore have enough qualifications and financial skills after graduation, making it easier for them to be hired by a foreign company in corporations and multinational companies, and companies with foreign capital.
CFA was founded in 1947 with the aim of connecting the passionate members of investment in order to facilitate learning and the exchange of experience and development, contributing to the development of advanced knowledge in the field of finance, which is key in the world. CFA currently has great prestige in the market and is known in more than 130 countries. Members of the CFA have extensive knowledge about investments and are experienced; notably, CFA pays a great deal of attention to professional ethics.
The training program of CFA ensures that learners develop the skills, standards, competencies, and the perfection to become financial analysts, investment managers, and investment advisors. The CFA's certificate is the acknowledgement of a training program and most rigorous certification of investors. TDTU is the second University in the South, and delivers Vietnam's third training program recognized by CFA (Asia has 54 universities whose training programs are recognized to be equivalent to TDTU’s by CFA).
