On 16 March 2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized the inauguration ceremony of the Dormitory and Official House for lecturers at Bao Loc Campus, located on Nguyen Tuan Street in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Hoang Phung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Lam Dong Province Party Committee, Secretary of the Bao Loc City Party Committee; and Leader of the Bao Loc People's Committee and TDTU.

The construction of the dormitory and public service house, which consists of four dormitory buildings (at four floors each) and five civil service villas (at floors each) required a total investment of 107 billion VND. Upon completion, the entire dormitory will have sufficient boarding facilities for 1,000 students; The 30-room public service house is equipped with modern and comfortable furniture and has enough space for 100 lecturers to teach at a time. The facility is expected to open its doors on 1 October 2017, when the first dormitory will be put into use for the 250 students staying at Bao Loc campus.

The establishment and operation of the Dormitory & Public Service House at Bao Loc campus this year not only contributes to the optimization and efficient allocation of resources invested, but also demonstrates the commitment of the university to completing investment projects within on schedule and within the allotted timeframe.  Putting the campus into early operation will contribute to the training of human resources and talent within Lam Dong province thereby fostering greater cooperation between Lam Dong Province and TDTU.  Moreover, it will contribute to the supply of high quality human resources for the socio-economic development, industrialization and modernization strategy across the South Central Highlands and South Central Vietnam.

With 97.5% of the total area of the premises at Bao Loc campus currently being covered by trees​​, the dormitories and public service houses have all been granted spectacular views of the surrounding pine and cedar; including experimental parks and flower gardens.   This environment will help students to stay relaxed and healthy, not to mention receptive and effective in their learning activities.
