Ton Duc Thang University Hosts the The 3rd International Conference on Innovations in the Social Sciences and Humanities 2024 - ISSH 2024

On July 26 and 27, 2024, the 3rd International Conference on Innovations in The Social Sciences & Humanities 2024 (ISSH 2024) was held at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).

The conference was co-organized by TDTU with the University of Melbourne (Australia), Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), Higher School of Economics (Russia), Jadavpur University (India), London Metropolitan University (UK), Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (Sri Lanka), and Walailak University (Thailand).

Before the opening ceremony, all participants observed a minute of silence, expressing their infinite sorrow and commemorating the great contributions to the country of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The ISSH 2024 Conference has 66 presentations by scientists from Vietnam and more than 20 countries around the world on new research in social sciences and humanities. The highlight of the ISSH 2024 Conference is the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approach to social sciences that has been widely used in research, reflected in new research results focusing on the fields of media sociology, social work, anthropology and tourism from many different scientific approaches. This is also a place to meet and exchange academics on contemporary issues, cultural diversity, human ecology, ... with many humanistic values ​​of more than 40 scholars from many countries, such as the UK, Sri Lanka, Australia, Russia, Taiwan, Thailand, ... and 20 leading scholars in the country.

With a diversity of participants and research topics, the academic debates at the ISSH 2024 Conference are expected to shed light on contemporary social issues in the world, opening up new approaches and research methods in the field of social sciences. Ton Duc Thang University is honored to be the center connecting the academic network of international scholars and experts in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
