On March 11, 2024, the delegation of Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), India headed by Prof. Suhas Joshi - Director of IIT Indore visited and had a working session with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
On behalf of TDTU, to welcome and collaborate with the Delegation of IIT Indore, there was the presence of Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach – Director of the International Cooperation, Research & Training Institute (INCRETI); Dr. Tran Thanh Phuong – Person in charge of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Dr. Pham Van Huy – Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; and lecturers of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
The development of short-term study or cultural exchange programs and internships for students majoring in engineering and technology at the two universities, research cooperation between research groups, centers, and institutes, and the organization of conferences, seminars, and workshops in the fields of engineering and technology at both institutions were among the cooperation topics that were discussed.
In his speech at the working session, Prof. Suhas Joshi - Director of IIT Indore introduced the establishment and development of IIT Indore, as well as extended his gratitude to TDTU for their warm hospitality and friendliness.
Currently, IIT Indore is ranked Top 500 according to QS World University Rankings 2024; Top 800 according to THE World University Rankings 2023. IIT Indore, established in 2009, is one of the Institutes of Technology established by the India’s government to promote the training of top-notch human resources in the field of engineering and technology for India. With its main emphasis on Electricity - Electronics, Computer Science and Information Technology Systems, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy, IIT Indore currently has nearly 2,000 students majoring in engineering, science and technology.
