The QS ranking system has announced the results of the QS Asia University Rankings 2022 with the participation of 687 higher education institutions across the continent.
Eleven Vietnamese universities have been listed in the Ranking, of which the highest ranking in Vietnam went to Ton Duc Thang Univerisity at 142nd place, and its entry ranking improved by 21 places compared to 2021.
QS Asia University Rankings is one of the regional university rankings by the QS world university ranking organization (UK). This ranking is based on 11 indicators to rank higher education institutions including: Academic Reputation (30%), Employer reputation (20%), Faculty/Students Ratio (10%), International research network (10%), Citations per paper (10%), papers per faculty (5%), Staff with a PhD (5%), inbound exchange students and outbound exchange students (2.5% for each indicator).
It can be seen that the indicators of QS are quite comprehensive, in addition to data collected from databases on international publications and data provided by educational institutions, the data obtained from the network of experts/ scholars/ employers is also elaborately mined and highly weighted in the ranking.
TDTU first appeared in the Asian university rankings in 2019 within the 291st-300th group; 207th in 2020, 163rd in 2021 and 142nd in the latest Ranking.
